“Covid-19 has postponed our next expedition so all of a sudden we have some unexpected free time… and you’re probably in the same boat.
We aren’t scientists or healthcare professionals so we can’t fight the virus directly, but we do have a fantastic community who’ve helped each other through struggles in the past.
Although we can’t meet in person, we now live in an age with so much digital access we’re still able to ‘get together’ and be a caring community even when we’re apart!
As we can’t launch our expedition from Kyrgyzstan on the 23rd, we’ll instead be launching our POOP Initiative: People Organising Online Presence, to help restore some community and light hearted positivity in these crazy times!
We don’t know how long this will last for so we aren’t putting a time frame on this. If you have any ideas let us know and we’d love to get you involved!”

Hey Everyone, We love you!!
We are so lucky to have our community of the most amazing humans anyone has ever had the privilege to know, to work with and most importantly to be a team with.
We find the Convoy is at its best with everyone working together!
There are some crazy things happening in the world right now, no doubt about it. So we just wanted to throw you a friendly reminder that it's important to work together, even if the people around you are complete strangers.
Although you might not be personally threatened right now, we know that financially (and otherwise!) shit is going down for many folks, and all of our lives are being affected by this. 😔
We will all need one another's support more than ever in the coming months and beyond!
So to help cheer you all up, we chose that picture of Joel LITERALLY 'in the shit' and finding a way to smile through it! 😂
TLDR: Lets get through this as a team, support one another, be patient and understanding and we will come out the other side of this stronger than we are today...
